At our mobility store, we offer a wide range of equipment for rent and for sale, including mobility scooters, power chairs,
lift chairs, and more. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the right equipment to meet your needs and budget,
but here is a list of our customers frequently asked questions at Mobility City of North Texas

About/Showroom:

We are open from 10-6 Monday-Friday and 10-2 on Saturday, Closed on Sunday

Yes, the owner is here everyday and we have 2 technicians on staff

We do offer delivery for a fee.

Purchasing & Payment:

We offer a 5% Military/Veterans/First Responder discount on most items. Some exclusions apply.

We currently offer Care Credit as a financing option

We do not currently offer a senior discount

While we do not currently accept health insurance we are looking into using a third party for insurance purposes in the future.

We offer a full range of items for all budgets.

On occasion we will purchase or offer to consign certain items. It is handled on a case by case basis.

All sales are final, we do not accept any returns

Rentals:

Wheelchairs, Scooters, Lift Chairs, Hospital Beds, Power Chairs, Hoyer Lift

Depending on the items, you can rent from 1 day to a month or more at a time.

We can deliver rented items for a fee.

Yes, the fee is dependant upon the distance that we will need to go for delivery.

Yes, we can.

We do not offer insurance on rentals

A portion of your rental charge can go towards the purchase of the item rented if you decide to buy it.

We do not currently have any contracts with local airports

Repairs:

In some cases we can repair items in the home, it will often require an evaluation to determine what needs to be repaired.

We go up to 100 miles from our store.

Yes, we can do service work on electric scooters

An appointment is best, or if you can leave it for a day or two you can just drop it off.

Technicians:

Yes, my technicians are employed by Mobility City and have had background checks completed.

We do not require them to have the vaccination.

We do carry liability insurance

In-Home Delivery:

Anywhere within a 100 mile radius of our store

Generally we can deliver same day, but always by the next day.

If you are in Collin County or surrounding areas we can come to you.

Products & Equipment:

Yes, we have many options for bathroom safety

Yes, we accept payment via telephone

Yes, we will repair products from other companies

Yes, we can repair items where you live

Yes, we carry many types of replacement batteries

We carry a few different charges

We will purchase some used mobility equipment on a case by case basis.

Yes, we have a large variety of items that you can try out.

Yes, we can service bariatric equipment and we carry some bariatric items

Sanitization:

We use a steamer with just water in it for sanitization. If it is an item that can’t be be steamed we will use Clorox wipes or cleaner.
